Gear shifting made easy

You will find the shift lever of your Birdbike’s gear shift next to the right handle. With little effort, you can skip between the 7 speeds of the Shimano gear shift, and adapt your bike to flat landscapes, moderate slopes or light terrain. At the same time, you don’t have to worry about making mistakes when shifting, it’s almost impossible to go wrong with a 1-x gearshift. This makes the Bird e-bike’s gear shift perfectly suited for fast, safe gear changes.

Bird's modern e-bike technology

It takes only three buttons next to the right grip of the handlebars to control the entire e-bike technology. There’s an on/off button and you can choose more or less support. That's all you really need to know, you can start your active life right away.

A clear and easy-to-read display shows the most important information. It keeps you informed on the speed, the charge level of the battery or the kilometers. However, the display isn’t mounted on top of the handlebars, as is the case with many other e-bikes. It is fully integrated into the stem, which has several advantages: You don't have to remove it to protect it from thieves, and it can't get damaged or break off in a fall. Also, this makes the entire bike cockpit look very neat.

The heart of the e-bike, the drive unit, is perfectly suited for daily commutes and smaller bike rides with its removable 346Wh battery and 250W rear hub engine.

A Birdbike always fits

There are two different frame versions of the Bird Bike, you can buy your e-bike with a diamond frame (Birdbikes calls this version "A-frame"), in that case you get a particularly sturdy frame with a high top tube. However, you can also go for a particularly comfortable low step-through frame, and order the electric Bird Bike with a wave frame or "V-frame", that has a low top tube and offers “easy entry”. No matter which bike shape you choose, the bikes are "one-size-fits-all", there is only one size. That means you don't have to bother with different frame sizes, the saddle and handlebars can be adjusted and fit riders from 173cm to 190cm tall. This is especially convenient when your Birebike e-bike is going to be used by several riders!
